Santander says its Financial Support Hub can help customers review overdue amounts and, where appropriate, set up or manage repayment plans for affected accounts. Separate support is available for mortgages, loans, credit cards and current accounts.
Check the overdue amount first
Confirm which account is behind and the current overdue balance before making a payment or agreeing a plan. Keep a record of any arrangement and when the next payment is due.
If the proposed payment is not affordable
Ask Santander to reassess the arrangement based on your circumstances rather than agreeing to an amount that leaves essential household bills unpaid.
